Wouldn't most NASCAR drivers actually be good at rally? A lot have dirt track backgrounds so they should be good at throttle steering and the first generation of NASCAR drivers would have been damn good rally drivers from their moonshiner backgrounds. Right?

Fun fact. My grandfather used to run moonshine starting when he was about 13 or 14 years old. He never admitted it but apparently his brother or childhood friend told my dad all about it.
